The Data Center Journal

Client’s Objective:

Data Center Journal wanted to give its community a portable periodical that would highlight important industry issues and also create an advertising vehicle for its community members. They wanted to start out with a print version of the magazine and then gradually move to a digital version over time. The digital magazine would give the ability to incorporate audio and video data into the magazine.

Challenge:

The new publication had to reflect the Data Center Journal brand and help foster the strength and engagement of its online community. The publication also had to be designed to make it functional for traditional print versions and creation of digital versions with video and audio incorporated.

Results:

NeatWorks Inc created a magazine which is currently published quarterly. The first 2 editions were for traditional print and from the 3rd edition we went t the digital version. The magazine layout process had to be cognizant of advertisers that or article contributors that wanted video incorporated into their ad or article. The print version would have an ad and the digital version would have an ad and a video player or just a video player. The digital version has been a huge success for Data Center Journal and its clients. The readers love the rich experience, advertisers love the ability to offer more than a static ad and our client of course has increased its revenue stream.
